Benc Orpak is the creative mind behind Blackforest Press, an independent publisher specializing in pen and paper role-playing games. In early 2024, he founded this publishing house to develop and distribute the role-playing game "Rune Blade."

With 20 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry, he has contributed to well-known computer games such as "Fallout 2" and series like "Game of Thrones." During this time, he honed his visual skills and deepened his expertise as a graphic artist and computer animator. In addition, he works as a lecturer at various universities in the field of game art and computer animation, where he shares his knowledge with students.

This experience proved invaluable when he developed the pen and paper role-playing game "Rune Blade." As an author and illustrator, he fulfilled a long-held dream to bring the world of Lorec to life and present it to a wide audience.
